The cloud or cloud computing refers to Internet-based provision of storage, computing power, or application software as a service. Basically, these infrastructures are used via programs installed on the accessing devices (clients) or web browsers. The underlying architecture is maintained by the service provider.

Cloud storage uses data centers with massive computer servers that physically store the data and make it available online to users via web. Users can remotely upload their content, store them and retrieve the data as and when required.
What does it mean when someone says their head is in the clouds?
Be absentminded or impractical, as in She must have had her head in the clouds when she made the reservations, because they never heard of us, or He’ll never be able to run the business—he’s always got his head in the clouds.
