What is palletized load?
Palletized Unit Load – A quantity of items, packed or unpacked, arranged on a pallet in a specified manner and secured, strapped, or fastened on the pallet so that the whole palletized load is handled as a single unit. A palletized or skidded load is not considered to be a shipping container.
What is the difference between a PLS and LHS?
The Palletized Load System (PLS) A1 is a 5-axle, 10-wheel drive tactical truck with a companion trailer (M1076A1), each with a demountable cargo bed (flat rack). A self-contained hydraulic Load Handling System (LHS) is mounted on the PLSA1 truck chassis.

What is palletized material?
Pallets are plane (flat) structures utilised in cargo container ships for supporting goods or containers. Cargo consignments are piled atop these structures, the process being referred to as palletizing. The cargo placed on pallet is secured with straps and wraps in order to stabilize and prevent any unwanted movement.

What is non palletized?
When shipping cargo, especially across long distances, securing it to a pallet is the best way to protect it. However, some types of products or small shipments cannot be secured to a pallet. This type of cargo is known as non-palletized.
