What is an overlapped seam?
The overlapping seam, also called the overlapped seam, is the easiest seam to sew. With the overlapping seam, the seam only has two layers that overlap, unlike other seams that have three or four layers of folded or overlapped fabric at the seam.
What is it called when you sew two pieces of fabric together?
