Monstercat (formerly known as Monstercat Media) is a Canadian independent electronic music record label based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Founded in 2011 by Mike Darlington and Ari Paunonen, the label released music on a tri-weekly basis until 2018, when this was changed to four releases a week.

As of late 2020, this EP has been removed from the label. Pushed Away is featured on Monstercat 005 – Evolution.
What’s the difference between Monstercat uncaged and instinct?
Going forward, the label will be split into two brands — Instinct and Uncaged — to represent the music classified under each. Instinct will represent the “pop-infused faction of music” under the Monstercat name, while Uncaged will represent the “heavy-hitting and bass-fueled side” of the label.

Krewella formed in 2007 and consisted of sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf, whose father is of Pakistani descent, along with producer Kris Trindl. The three met as students at Glenbrook North High School. Their music is a blend of self-produced electro house and dubstep, with influences of many other EDM styles.
