Chirp Mail is a completely redesigned mail app which can save you a lot of time on email. It’s clean, fast, secure and mobile friendly.
How does Chirp text work?
The chirping devices cost 10 cents a text message, and inmates can send up to 160 characters per text. The first five texts messages an inmate sends are free. If the inmate cannot fund the unit after the first five texts are sent, the devices are taken away and given to a new inmate being processed in.
How do I put money on chirp?
Funds may be added to the inmate’s account at anytime using the Inmatesales.com website. When an inmate gets the device they may send 5 free automated messages each day for the first three days of possession of the chirping device.
How do inmates receive texts?
The prison administration specifies the cost of text messages, and the bill may be covered by the prisoner or a friend or family member from the outside. The recipient options are limited. The prison staff will monitor incoming and outgoing texts for any suspicious activity.

The easiest way to find an inmate’s ID number is online. If your inmate is in federal prison, you can find their number on the BOP website. If your inmate is in state prison, you can find their number on that state’s DOC website. To find an inmate number on the BOP website, you need the inmate’s first and last name.
Do you get conjugal visits on death row?
