How big are packing cubes?

There are 3 different sizes of cubes in this pack, all of which are incredibly useful. The large cubes measure 17.5 x 12.75 x 3.25 inches and are perfect for jackets, towels, sweaters, and trousers. The medium cubes come measure 13.75 x 9.75 x 3 inches, just right for shirts, blouses, and shorts.

Are all packing cubes the same?

No. We think that the packing cubes we chose will fit well in a variety of bags and transfer easily between them. However, if you’re dedicated to a specific brand or design, you may prefer to have cubes that are sized to fit perfectly within the relevant brand’s bags.

Can you fit more with packing cubes?

Using compression cubes when traveling on low-cost carriers with size limits means you can put in all your clothes then zip the compression cube, which will shrink it into a more manageable size, allowing you to fit more in.

What fits in a packing cube?

What is this? Large packing cubes (14 x 10 x 3.5 inches): These are best used for packing your t-shirts, shorts, sometimes folded shirts, and other items that aren’t too bulky. I’m usually able to pack about seven rolled-up t-shirts in there, two pairs of shorts, and one or two buttoned long-sleeve shirts.

Are travel packing cubes worth it?

Absolutely! Packing cubes are a great help in multiple ways during the packing and traveling process. Firstly, they help contain your clothes into a more compact space. Since all your clothes are zipped up into the cube, you can easily move them around while packing and have them fit neatly into your suitcase.

Are compressible packing cubes worth it?

Compression packing cubes offer some of the benefits of both: the organization of a packing cube and the space-saving benefits of a compression bag. While we love condensing our bags, we recommend doing so by packing less stuff, not by taking more clothes but pushing the air out.
