Can you take a bus to Magic Kingdom?
Guests staying at the Magic Kingdom-area resorts have the option of taking the monorail or boats to Magic Kingdom, and buses to the other theme parks and water parks. Because of its close proximity, guests staying at the Contemporary can walk to Magic Kingdom if they wish.
How do you get to Magic Kingdom without a car?
Disney has its own fantastic internal travel network. From buses, monorail & ferries you will be transported across Disney World for free from your resort. Complimentary transportation is available from all resorts 45 minutes before Disney Theme Park opening time up to one hour after Disney Theme Park closing time.
Where does the Disney bus drop you off at Magic Kingdom?
The Bus drops you off directly at MK just where all of the other buses drop off at around the circle so you do NOT need to ride the monorail from ticket and transportation. So all of the buses from Swan and Dolphin drop off exactly where Disney buses drop off at.
Can you walk from Ticket and transportation Center to Magic Kingdom?
The pathway between Magic Kingdom and Grand Floridian Resort is now open. This walking path also gives Walt Disney World guests the option to travel by foot from the Transportation & Ticket Center or Polynesian Village Resort.
Can you use Disney transportation if not staying on property?
All guests visiting Walt Disney World and Disneyland are able to use Disney’s complimentary resort transportation. You do not have to be staying at a Disney owned or operated Resort hotel in order to take advantage of any of the transportation that is available including buses, monorails, boats, and ferries.
Is it easy to get around Orlando without a car?
Orlando is a car city, there’s no getting around it – it can be time-consuming, inconvenient or expensive to get where you want to be if you don’t have the use of an automobile. But slowly the city is making strides in the area of public transit, adding commuter train SunRail to the long-established Lynx bus system.
Can anyone ride the Disney buses?
Yes. All Guests have complimentary access to our network of monorails, buses and boats. If you would like to visit multiple parks, enjoy a nice dinner at one of the Disney Resort hotels or shop at Disney Springs, you can leave your car parked in the theme park lot and use our transportation network.
Does Uber pick up at Magic Kingdom?
The only place Uber drivers can’t get you conveniently is Magic Kingdom. Pick ups and drop offs for Magic Kingdom are made at Transportation and Ticket Center.
Can you walk to Magic Kingdom from any hotel?
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney’s Contemporary Resort all have convenient walking paths to Magic Kingdom. All three of these resorts have neighboring Disney Vacation Club properties that are also within walking distance of Magic Kingdom.
