How does Florida Virtual full time work?
FLVS Full Time is a fully online public school requiring students take a standard public school course load of six courses per semester. The school runs on a traditional 180-day academic calendar (August to June) and serves as the school of record, managing all student transcripts and progress reports.
What is Florida Virtual Flex?
FLVS Flex allows students to take one or more online courses anytime during the year. It is open to homeschool students who want to customize their own schedule and curriculum or traditional students who take the majority of their courses at a public or private school.
What is the difference between Flvs and BVS?
BVS is a franchise of FLVS, therefore we offer almost all of the same courses as FLVS. If a student is interested in a FLVS course we do not offer, it can be taken with FLVS. Both BVS and FLVS use the same platform, so the student would still have one log in.

How do I withdraw from FLVS?
If you have recently requested a course and have not yet been assigned an instructor, you are able to remove the course request on your Student Dashboard by selecting Drop Course in the box for the respective course (see below)
Does Flvs provide a computer?
The laptops are available on a first come, first served basis. All laptops are provided to students to support their academic performance and completion of class assignments. The program limit is set as a once-per-lifetime laptop per student. Technical support/replacements will not be provided.
